GD means Guaranteed Departures! With this little sign, you know your tour will be departing rain, hail or shine. No, GD indicator doesn’t mean it’s got commitment issues. Many factors determine if a tour is GD, it will still be planned to operate but may be subject to rescheduling. Things happen, even the day before a departure. So, what is the Safety Net? Part of making sure your trip is hassle-free, even before take-off, is offering a SafetyNet Protection policy*. For $75, you can amend your tour up to 24 hours before the tour departure. The Safety Net Protection Policy comes in two parts. The SafetyNet Transfer Protection* means you can alter your tour to any other departing in the same calendar year (once only) with 24 hours’ notice. Need to cancel in full? Sure can, with no penalties up to 30 days prior to your tour departure, you can use the SafetyNet Cancellation Protection*. *Conditions of the SafetyNet Protection policy apply and do not include airfares, or third party fees and charges. One or the other can be used once only.
